There is no payment gateway in the app, and no money moves through Nezdoo. Tenants pay their owner directly, exactly as they do today; the app is where the owner records it, so both sides can see the same ledger. That also means Nezdoo never asks for card or bank details.
A small number of listings carry a Verified badge. It means someone from Nezdoo visited the property. Owners cannot award it to themselves. Every other listing is the owner's own description — worth a visit before you decide.
